October 1: Apple Affair - A full-day event in hometown Galesville, WI. My sister and I will have a booth showcasing her watercolors of local landscapes and my historical novel. 9 am - 4 pm at the fairgrounds (near the 10-foot apple pie that will be devoured)

Oct. 8 FANHS Greater Chicago Chapter Film Screening with special guest panelists in Skokie, Il. The film, “Honor Thy Mother” will be shown followed by two panelists: Author Maria Alvarez Stroud and Performance Artist Jennifer Ligaya

Oct. 15 “Our Filipino Immigration Stories” Event in Madison, WI. PAMANA presents this event as it’s first after a long hiatus due to the pandemic. Maria Alvarez Stroud will MC the event and speak, joined by three other local Filipino-Americans, and open sharing of immigration stories by all.
